The check involves testing your gas system, appliances, electrical system, water system and provides a Damp Report. Body work is checked, windows and doors and floor is checked for delamination.

A Damp Report advises if there's any signs of damp which is usually a sign of water ingress. If high levels of damp are found it is imperative that further checks and repairs are carried out before any water ingress causes expensive damage to the structure of your caravan or motorhome.

Your Habitation Check forms part of your service history so it's well worth keeping it up to date.

Electrical Installation Condition Report

The check tests your wiring which can over time deteriorate especially in areas where it is exposed or passes through bodywork or furniture within your caravan or motorhome. This report advises you if there's any issues present at the time of the report or if there's something that might need work in the near future allowing you to make any necessary repairs to keep your vehicle safe.
